The hotel had a unique history and modern amenities, with a religious past and all the comforts of today. The grounds were beautiful, with a wonderful view from the bell tower. Our room had a huge and comfortable bed, a lovely en-suite with a roll top bath and walk-in shower. The dining experience was excellent, with plenty of choices and worth the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location was perfect for a retreat or relaxation.
There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel. The location, nestled in its own grounds, was absolutely stunning. We particularly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere, especially when sitting under the enormous weeping willow tree that graced the grounds. The hotel facilities were excellent, allowing us to explore the charming chapel, wine cellars, library bar, and even climb the bell tower for a splendid view. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Breakfast was a delight, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is set in 26 acres of grounds, providing a beautiful and tranquil environment. We loved exploring the adjacent Grade II listed abbey during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
