The hotel's location near trains and buses made it very convenient for transportation. I found my room to be clean and adequate, with a hot shower and warm temperature. The hotel had all the modern conveniences I needed while still maintaining a charming and old-fashioned atmosphere. The owner, Andrew, was very knowledgeable and accommodating, providing great service. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, with a full English cooked breakfast and cereal options. I had a good stay and would definitely return, especially when planning to hike in the beautiful surroundings.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The freshly cooked breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars. It's also conveniently close to Windermere Train Station and buses that take you to other parts of the area. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget who needs a central base with great transportation options and plenty of nearby amenities.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Windermere. The hotel is in a perfect location, very near the Windermere information center and in the beautiful Lake District. It is just a minute from the station and close to all shops and restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with rooms kept warm and clean, and beds made every morning. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of cereals and cooked options. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, making our stay even better.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
Conveniently close to the rail station, making transportation easy. Ideal location for exploring Windermere and Bowness, just a short walk away. Clean and well-maintained hotel facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast options.
